Name labels for RAF - regulation size and format

We now send all our UK orders by Tracked Delivery. Please note: this doesn't guarantee next day delivery. However Royal Mail tell us tracked post takes priority.

Most orders made before 2pm Monday to Friday will be shipped the same day. Orders made late on a Friday or at the weekend will not be dispatched until the following Monday (or Tuesday if there is a Bank holiday). 

Once orders have left us and are with the postal service, they are completely out of our control but if you experience any problems Royal Mail should be able to help due to the tracking number.

All the same if items don't arrive quite as quickly as you'd like please allow a little time before contacting us. We cannot immediately resend goods if they don't arrive.

Yes of course they do!

Well we would say that... but they really do. In fact when applied correctly they become part of the garment and so they can't possible come off. Customers often ask us how to get them off if they want to hand their clothes down!

However when ironing on, the iron needs to be very hot and pressed down hard.  It can sometimes be a bit tricky to tell because the name tags can appear to be stuck on but if the glue on the back of the label isn't completely melted they may start to peel off. Instructions will be included.

RAF labels are printed in capitals. Usually the last three numbers of the service number are printed after the surname. If the service number is not available at the time of printing we will try to leave a space for it to be written in later. Our Pilot laundry marker is ideal for this purpose. Our labels are the size stipulated in the RAF kit list.

They might look and feel a bit like paper but they are not! They are made of a very strong woven material. If you are worried that they are paper try ripping them and you will be reassured!
